Amanda Lee is an actress who beams inspiration. She is like that in life and on her social networks. Artist, athlete, mother, wife. All in one, That’s how Amanda is. She was born in Copacabana, a neighborhood in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, and her interest in the arts started when she was a child. Early on, she took an acting course at CAL – Casa das Artes de Laranjeiras. In 1997, she made her debut on Globo TV in A Indomada. She was also cast in Corpo Dourado (1998) and Coração de Estudante (2002). In 2003, she won over the wide audience as Luzia in A Casa das Sete Mulheres. Having a stable career which she has built up over more than two decades, currently, she is a part of the cast of Todas as Flores (Globoplay), a success of the author João Emanuel Carneiro. In the plot, she is performing “Teixeira” a police officer on the second season of the series.
Her professional success also includes her participation in the fifth season of Impuros, by Star+. In the series, which is a success with both critics and audience, she gives life to Sandra, a police officer. Coincidentally, she performs two police officers in two distinct series, and both profiles are completely different
Always on-screens, Amanda starred in the short film A Pedra do Relógio and also acted in the feature film Arcanos, in which she acts with Lilia Cabral. All this work was done last year.
Amanda has a career full of success on TV. Over the years, she became well-known by the audience for working in more than 15 TV projects. She has also a longstanding experience in the theater, with highlights including the shows Dona Macbeth, Hiato, and Agora e na Hora.
In addition to being an actress, Amanda is an amateur triathlete and is always participating in major competitions that take place around the country. On her social networks, she shares her training routine. “I usually say that sports are my biggest motivation in life. It is also connected directly to my career as an actress, in the discipline and time management. It is my balance,” says Amanda.
